Terms of Service
These terms cover your use of hexly's blog (hexly.nexus), run by Kev ("I", "me"). By using the site or creating an account, you agree to them. If you don't agree, please don't use the site.
Accounts
You can sign in with a Google account to comment. You must be at least 13 years old. You're responsible for what's posted from your account. I can suspend or delete any account at any time, with or without notice, especially if these terms are broken.
Comments and images
Comments and images you post are public. Don't post anything that:
- is illegal, or encourages illegal activity;
- harasses, threatens, or abuses anyone, or is hateful toward any group;
- shares someone else's personal information without their permission;
- infringes someone else's copyright or other rights;
- is spam, advertising, scams, or links to malware or phishing;
- is sexually explicit or graphically violent;
- impersonates someone else.
I can remove any comment or image, and ban any account, at my discretion, without having to explain why.
You keep ownership of what you post. By posting it, you give me a non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to display it on this site and in its feeds. Deleting a comment ends that licence, although copies may briefly remain in caches or backups.
Security research
If you find a security issue on this site, please report it privately to [email protected] rather than exploiting it or posting it publicly. Testing that disrupts the site, accesses other people's data, or involves automated scanning or denial of service isn't permitted.
My content
Unless a post says otherwise, the writing, images and other content I publish here are © Kev, all rights reserved. You're welcome to quote short excerpts with a link back. Code snippets in posts are there to learn from, so use them in your own projects as you like, but at your own risk.
Links to other sites
Posts may link to other websites. I don't control them and I'm not responsible for their content or how they handle your data.
No warranty
The site and everything on it is provided "as is". Posts are personal opinions and experiences, not professional advice. I don't guarantee that anything here is accurate, complete or up to date, or that the site will always be available.
Liability
As far as the law allows, I'm not liable for any loss or damage arising from your use of the site or reliance on its content. Nothing in these terms limits liability that can't be limited by law.
Changes
I may update these terms. The date at the top shows when they last changed. Continuing to use the site after a change means you accept the new terms.
Law
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and any disputes go to the courts of England and Wales.
